Hi there! 👋 Welcome to my personal website!
I am Junpu Yu, a master student at Carnegie Mellon Unviersity, majoring in Artificial Intelligence Engineering. I had my undergraduate study at University of Washington, majoring in Computer Science, and minoring in Applied Mathematics.
I am a research assistant at the Computational Engineering and Robotics Lab at CMU working on computer vision (CV) and specifically human object interaction (HOI) detection, hoping to push the boundary of HOI research with the help of CV techniques and Transformers. I'm also a research assistant at the Makeability Lab at UW, working on projects related to Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Accessibility, and Retrieval augmented generation(RAG). I am passionate about using technology to help people with disabilities and improve their quality of life.
Currently, I am actively looking for internship opportunities in the field of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Software Engineering. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any opportunities or questions! 😊
